Over 100 preemies and their families enjoyed a spectacular evening "under the sea" at The Maritime Aquarium, thanks to The Tiny Miracles Foundation.
The Sunday, June 3 gathering celebrated the many families affected by premature birth in Fairfield County. It provided an opportunity for parents to connect with one another, share experiences and thank volunteers who helped make a difference for their preemies.
The Tiny Miracles Foundation is a volunteer-based, non-profit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive support and assistance to families with premature infants in the greater Fairfield County area, and to helping local neonatal intensive care units (NICUs) provide the best possible care for premature patients and their families. The foundation strives to improve the lives and outcomes of preterm babies and their families, and addresses a community need they say is virtually unmet by other local, regional or national organizations.
The Tiny Miracles Foundation assists more than 1,200 local families annually through programs at five partner hospitals: Stamford, Norwalk, Bridgeport, Danbury and most recently, St. Vincent’s Medical Center and services to the community at large.
All proceeds from the Under the Sea event benefit The Tiny Miracles Foundation. To learn more about foundation and their support programs, click here www.ttmf.org or call 203-202-9714.
